Ottodays Project

An oasis of relaxation
and wellbeing

The eighth day represents a moment to dedicate entirely to oneself, an opportunity to disconnect from the frenzy of everyday life and rediscover personal wellbeing. The OTTODAYS project summarises precisely this concept: the creation of a refuge of relaxation and energy dedicated to clients who want to pamper themselves with cutting-edge beauty treatments.

Our studio had already worked with the client in the past on the development of other beauty centres. When she decided to open a new salon in Milan, she therefore had no doubts about whom to entrust with the design of the furnishings.

The Studio

UNIFORM Studio curated the project aesthetically and, once the opening schedule of the shop had been defined with the client, together with the Carminati Interiors design studio identified the best solutions for the interiors. The strong synergy developed between our team and the design studio, as well as the latter’s physical proximity to the construction site, allowed us to monitor the progress of the work closely and intervene promptly in case of doubts or critical issues.

As this was a complete renovation, the work involved a total conversion of the premises, demolishing walls and creating new doors and divisions, while also realigning the electrical, plumbing and lighting systems to adapt to the new intended use.

The Interior

The client wanted to create an environment characterised by warm, welcoming colours, able to instil serenity and transport anyone crossing the threshold into a dimension of tranquillity. Together with the client, we selected all furniture finishes, opting in particular for the use of Rosa Tea marble, known for its refinement and characteristic pale pink colour crossed by light veining, together with systems consistent with the furnishings, appliances, HCCP-compliant mixers and sinks, as well as the lighting bodies.

Once the raw space had been surveyed and the technical drawings approved by the client and the team of architects, we put the furniture and marble claddings into production. The installation of the furnishings took about a week, allowing the shop to open within the timeframe agreed with the client. The final result is an elegant and refined beauty centre, a true oasis where one can relax and enjoy a moment of wellbeing.
