Project Ottodays
An oasis of relaxation and wellbeing
The eighth day represents a moment to fully dedicate to oneself, an opportunity to take a break from the frenzy of daily life and rediscover personal wellbeing.
The project Ottodays perfectly encapsulates this concept: the creation of a refuge of relaxation and energy designed for a clientele seeking to pamper themselves with cutting-edge beauty treatments.
Our studio has previously collaborated with the client on the development of other beauty centers. Therefore, when she decided to open a new salon in Milan, she had no doubt about entrusting us with the interior design.
The Design Process
UNIFORM SRL managed the project from an aesthetic point of view and, once the store opening timeline was agreed upon with the client, architect Andrea, in collaboration with the interior design studio Carminati Interiors, defined the best interior solutions.
The strong synergy developed between our team and the design studio, along with the latter’s close physical proximity to the construction site, allowed us to closely monitor the progress and intervene promptly if any doubts or issues arose.
As this was a complete renovation, the work involved a total conversion of the premises, demolishing walls, creating new doors and partitions, and realigning the electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems to suit the new intended use.
The interiors
The client wished to create a space characterized by warm and inviting colors, capable of instilling serenity and transporting anyone who crossed the threshold into a realm of tranquility.
Together with the client, we selected all the furniture finishes, particularly opting for the use of Rosa Tea marble—renowned for its elegance and distinctive pale pink hue veined with light streaks—as well as furnishings-consistent systems, appliances, HACCP-compliant faucets, sinks, and lighting fixtures.
After surveying the raw space and obtaining approval of the technical drawings from the client and architectural team, we began production of the furniture and marble-clad fittings. The installation took about a week to complete, allowing the salon to open on schedule.
The end result is an elegant and refined beauty center, a true oasis where one can relax and indulge in moments of wellbeing.
